El Profesor Patrizio Lecca he conseguido un doctorado en Economía en la Universidad de Cagliari y en la Strathclyde Business School. Antes de unirse a ICADE, Patrizio trabajó en la Agencia de Evaluación Ambiental de los Países Bajos, la Wageningen University & Research, la Comisión Europea (JRC) y en la Strathclyde Business School. Es un macroeconomista con intereses multidisciplinarios. Ha explorado temas relacionados con economic modelling, la eficiencia energética, las tecnologías energéticas, los impuestos ambientales, el ajuste y desarrollo regional, la economía del turismo, la economía de la educación, etc. Sus trabajos han sido publicados en revistas de economía, geografía y energía y medio ambiente.
