I am a Doctor of Psychology, and my professional and academic trajectory spans three main areas of research and development, converging towards an integrated proposal in psychology and applied technology: 1.- Behavioural Problems in Youth: I initiated my focus with my doctoral thesis on the neurophysiological area of young people with conduct disorder and psychopathic traits. I have collaborated with juvenile penitentiary institutions and led the Cygnus Project at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, researching the origins and manifestations of juvenile psychopathy and callous-unemotional traits. This approach provides a solid foundation for developing effective interventions that address these problems from their root. 2.- Methodology for Criminal Profiling: I developed the ENCUIST Method, aimed at providing a new way of creating psychological profiles with applications in the forensic, intelligence, and security fields. This development is framed within my interest in the intersection between personality psychology, forensic sciences, and neuroscience, reflecting my commitment to enhancing profiling techniques in these critical areas. 3.- Digital Mental Health: In response to emerging needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, I redirected my research towards digital mental health, developing "Sperantia", a personalised psychological aid application. This project culminated in the creation of the first chair in Digital Mental Health in Spain at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, of which I am the director. This line of work integrates technology and data analysis to enhance access and personalisation of psychological support. Currently, as the director of the Chair of Innovation and Digital Mental Health at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, I combine my experience in directing interdisciplinary projects and my research to advance the diagnosis and treatment of complex behavioural disorders, especially in youth populations. I am committed to excellence in research and clinical practice, aiming to revolutionise the approach to behavioural disorders and strengthen the links between research, technology, and patient care.
