El profesor Luis Ángel Calvo Pascual es licenciado en Ciencias Matemáticas por la Universidad de Salamanca (2007-2011) con un Máster en Matemáticas y Aplicaciones por la UAM (2012) y Doctor en Ciencias Matemáticas por la UAM-ICMAT (2013-2018). Ha realizado seis estancias en instituciones internacionales como el Tata Institute (Bombay) y la Universidad de Mc Gill (Montreal). Su actividad investigadora abarca los campos de Teoría de Fibrados, Teoría de números, y la aplicación de metodología machine learning a diferentes ámbitos de la medicina.
