López López, Gregorio Ignacio

El Profesor Gregorio López López es Doctor e Ingeniero de Telecomunicación por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) (2014). Su tesis doctoral recibió el premio Extraordinario de Doctorado de la UC3M 2015 y el Premio CISCO del COIT 2015 a la Mejor Tesis Doctoral en Aplicaciones del Internet of Everything (IoE). Está acreditado como Profesor Contratado Doctor, Profesor de Universidad Privada y Profesor Ayudante Doctor por ANECA desde 2016. Desde 2014 hasta finales de 2016 dio clases en la UC3M, la Universidad Antonio de Nebrija y la Universidad Pontitifica Comillas - ICAI. Desde 2017 hasta finales de 2018 trabajó como Profesor Ayudante Doctor en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y en enero de 2019 se incorporó como Profesor Colaborador Asistente a ICAI. Además de su experiencia como docente, posee amplia experiencia en investigación cercana a mercado, adquirida mediante su participación a lo largo de los últimos 10 años en una decena de proyectos de I+D nacionales y europeos en el ámbito de las comunicaciones máquina-máquina (M2M) y su aplicación a e-health y Smart Grids. Ha publicado más de 20 artículos en revistas y conferencias de alto impacto y es co-inventor de una patente europea. Sus intereses investigadores se centran actualmente en la evaluación y optimización de redes, tecnologías y protocolos M2M en base a análisis y simulación y en ciberseguridad y analítica de datos para entornos IoT.
