El Profesor Eugenio F. Sánchez Úbeda obtuvo el título de Ingeniero Industrial (ICAI) por la Universidad Pontificia Comillas en 1991 y el título de Doctor Ingeniero Industrial por la misma universidad en 1999. En 1992 se incorporó al Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica (IIT) donde desarrolla su actividad investigadora en temas de análisis de datos, aprendizaje automático y predicción de series temporales. Experiencia profesional

Desde 1991 trabaja en el campo de las técnicas de aprendizaje automático y predicción, fundamentalmente en el ámbito de los sistemas avanzados de análisis de información para la optimización de la operación y la toma de decisiones. Ha participado en más de 80 proyectos de investigación sobre estos temas en colaboración con empresas europeas..
